What you can expect when staying at Rocky Crest Golf Resort

  • We have opened with ongoing social distancing measures.   You should expect the resort experience to be adjusted this season for the safety of both our guests and team members.  This will be re-evaluated based on government regulations and public health authority recommendations on a regular basis throughout the year.

  • All indoor public spaces, including but not limited to, the Front Desk, Golf Shop, Restaurants (including take out pick up), etc. require mandatory masks wearing by all employees, guests and visitors.

Ontario COVID response​​

  • The Province of Ontario has set up a 3 step re-opening system in their response to COVID-19. 

  • Currently we are in Level 2

Level 2 

  • All outdoor recreation open including watercraft at the waterfront.   We are supplying shared PFD's (life jackets) this year.

  • The outdoor pool will be open.   All hot tubs, sauna and exercise room are closed.

  • Waterpark to be open (summer season only).

  • Take out from our Bayside restaurant 8 am to 10 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Outdoor dining will be available at Bayside and Clubhouse restaurants for lunch & dinner with maximum 6 per table.

  • Masks are required when indoors.

Level 3 as of Friday July 16

  • All outdoor recreation open including watercraft at the waterfront.   We are supplying shared PFD's (life jackets) this year.

  • The outdoor pool will be open.   All hot tubs, sauna and exercise room are closed.

  • Watepark to be open (summer season only).

  • Full regular dining hours for all restaurants with some indoor dining restrictions.

  • Masks are required when indoors.

Guest Suites

  • Guest suites will be prepared for your arrival with a focus on high frequency touch points.

  • All guest handouts (maps, folios, menus, etc.) will be e-mailed to guests or available on our Rocky Crest Resort app.

  • Stayover housekeeping service is not currently being offered to limit physical distancing.

  • Additional amenities, towels, etc. will be delivered on request to your guest suite.

  • Garbage pick up will happen on request.

 

Food and Beverage

  • Rocky Crest will be offering a combination of inside dining, outdoor patios and take out from our three restaurants based on government regulations.

  • Masks are required when seated unless eating at your table and should you leave the table at any time.

  • Shared BBQ area is open and available on a first come, first served based.

Golf

  • You will be greeted upon arrival and be provided instructions related to the local Club operational protocols.

  • Practice physical distancing and respiratory etiquette at all times. Keep one flagstick length away from others, avoid touching surfaces, sanitize your hands frequently, avoid common greetings such as handshakes, and please do not gather in groups to socialize at any time.

  • Our golf services staff will not be handling golfer’s equipment including: unloading from your vehicle, placing equipment on power carts or push carts.

  • Practice facilities will be available for golfers with a pre-booked tee time only.

  • Bunker rakes will be removed from the course and bunkers will be temporarily played as lift, clean and place. Please use your foot to smooth your footprints as you exit a bunker.

  • Flagsticks have been labelled ‘do not touch’ and golfers are instructed to keep flagsticks in the hole. The hole will be modified to allow you to remove your ball from the hole without touching the hole with your hand.

  • In order to avoid potential social gatherings, we ask that you depart immediately following your round, unless you are accessing the restaurant.

Recreation and Other Services

  • Walking trails are open.

  • Waterfront open with restrictions. Limited sun chaise and chairs available.

  • Canoes, paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boats are available.

    • Self-serve sanitization station with instructions and contact information.

  • Water park and pontoon boat cruises will be available in the summer season (June 25th through September 6th).

  • Tennis, basketball and volleyball courts are available.   We recommend you provide your own equipment.

  • Recreation facilities closed include Armishaw Building, pools, hot tub and family activities.

  • Bonfire will be available if there is no municipal fire ban and if guests following physical distancing expectations.

  • Fitness room is closed.
