Few things in life can top the experience of being a kid in Muskoka in the summer: Endless opportunities for outdoor fun, plenty of space to roam around and explore, frogs to catch, and sparkling lakes to swim in.

At Rocky Crest Golf Resort, the Kids Camp that runs in July and August makes it easy for parents to provide maximum Muskoka fun while also getting some time to relax in the sun. Kids are welcome to attend for one-day sessions, or to sign up for three-day and five-day options. Maximum Muskoka Fun Rocky Crest’s Kids Camp is held at the Armishaw Recreation area, a picturesque building nestled in the trees between the playground and Armishaw pool. Our trained camp leaders are engaged, super fun, and ready to keep a mindful eye on the campers while also giving them the freedom to choose the activities that they like best. Some of the experiences we offer Kids Campers include:

Swimming at the Water Park! The de facto favourite of the majority of our campers, our water park includes multiple inflatables on beautiful Lake Joseph. Giant climbing icebergs, water trampolines, and various bouncy structures provide the ultimate in waterfront fun. Kids must wear a life jacket on the water park, and are closely attended to during their fun-filled swim times.

Arts and Crafts After a long swim in the water park, a quiet arts and crafts session is the perfect way to unwind. Kids will have the chance to craft various masterpieces throughout the summer.

Scavenger Hunts Run through the wilderness with your team collecting nature, resort, and recreation items to win the game.

Games Room On the rainy days, Kids Campers won’t be running out of ways to have fun. The indoor Games Room has plenty of activities to keep them entertained.

Fun for the Whole Family On the days when the kids aren’t at Kids Camp, there’s still lots of opportunity to make Muskoka memories around the resort. Poolside bingo, fishing, big ball soccer, and wild water relays are all included in the basic resort fee. Another hidden gem is the drop-in fishing program that takes place every morning on the dock. Rocky Crest staff are there to hook the kids up with a worm and a fishing pole, and provide tips to land their first catch. And if you're looking for a longer excursion on the lake, you can also sign up for a private pontoon boat cruise. Relax with up to six guests and take in the sights around Lake Joseph.
