If you are looking for some great pricing on wedding packages, look no further... Spring is the time of the year! You can check out our spring pricing and dates if you CLICK HERE and view our wedding page.

Plan through the winter months, cozied up by the fire with your soon-to-be forever person. Then enjoy the summer as a married couple.

Sap is running from trees, waiting to be collected for another year of sweet maple flavours. After April’s rain we start with the growth of mushrooms in our forests - and speaking of mushrooms... they're a staple ingredient in our popular Crisp Skin Chicken Breast entrée, check out the recipe!

Room rates for your guests are at pricing that will allow them to not only stay for the weekend festivities, but do it without too much cost!

Spring is often thought of as a romantic time of the year, mother nature is turning over a new fresh season of warmth and sun for us, filled with new growth, new life and it’s a great time to start a new journey together.

Warm summer nights are a great way to spend the evening outdoors, under fairy lights, by a bonfire with all your loved ones. Sing some old family favourites around the bonfire and recall times from the past. Mini summer vacations for your guests are sure to be a highlight at a destination resort wedding.

Rocky Crest Golf Resort is in full swing in the summer months with recreational activities that keep your guests busy for a full weekend of celebrations. CLICK HERE to view our summer packages.

Colourful flowers, and greenery for stunning decor is in abundance. The floral fragrance will spread quickly through our Marquee Tent for an authentic outdoor Muskoka style tented summer wedding.

Extended daylight brings us more time for celebrations under the sun, which makes your special day feel like it lasted so much longer, and of course photo opportunities as the sun sets over beautiful Lake Joseph.

Anything goes at a resort destination wedding, and you can decide on what the theme of the day will bring. Transform your look throughout the day with dresses that will suite a more formal ceremony, and convert into a shorter party dress for dancing under the stars into the evening. Jump off our docks into beautiful Lake Joseph the next day for a “wreck the dress” photo opportunity.

Light summer dining can be flavourfull too, especially in strawberry season. Strawberry rhubarb crumble is one of our chef's summer favourites to prepare with a perfect combination of sweet and tart.

Been using Pico Image for a while now for resizing and compressing images. It runs entirely in the browser so nothing gets uploaded to a server, which I find reassuring. Background removal works pretty well too, saves me from opening heavier software for simple tasks.

When I first started organizing wedding details, I underestimated how quickly everything could become overwhelming. Having one place to manage the guest list, budget, timeline, and vendor information makes a huge difference. I found that https://weddenly.com/ offers a practical way to keep everything organized without constantly switching between different apps or spreadsheets. It also helps reduce stress because you can easily track progress and make updates whenever plans change. For me, staying organized meant I could spend more time enjoying the planning process instead of worrying about missing important details.

I love the idea of planning through the cold months while cozy indoors - by the time spring rolls around, you're all set. The whole sap-running imagery really captures that energy of waiting for the right moment, kind of like how Pokemon Lazarus fans track every update. Makes the long winter feel way more productive.

A good wedding planning is mostly about organization and timing. Start with a simple checklist so you can gradually move from big decisions to smaller details without stress. Secure the essential vendors first, then work on styling, décor, and the event schedule. It’s also important to keep one clear theme or direction so everything feels cohesive on the day. Many couples find it helpful to look at real examples to avoid confusion and save time during decision-making. You can find inspiration and planning guidance through ashkinstudio.com. In the end, flexibility and clear priorities make the whole process much smoother.
