In the nearby town of Parry Sound a world-renowned classical music festival is held every summer. Just a 20-minute drive from Rocky Crest Golf Resort, this festival has been taking place on the shores of Georgian Bay each year since 1979 and has become recognized as one of Canada's preeminent classical music festivals. With classical music being at the heart of the festival, the concert series has grown to include jazz and folk artists within it's lineup too.

Regularly held at The Charles W. Stocky Centre, which is also home to the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame, The Festival of the Sound spans nearly 3 weeks this year from July 19th to August 5th and includes a list of exceptional award-winning musicians.

The Festival has been the recipient of numerous awards including two Lieutenant Governor Award for the Arts, and has been listed within the Top 100 multiple times by Festival and Events Ontario, making it a must-go happening for music lovers.

As a gaming specialist, I believe Geometry Dash is a masterwork of complexity turned into simplicity. Because of the game's tight playability and one-touch controls, each jump must be precisely timed to the beat.

In Geometry Dash Scratch, players must overcome a series of challenging obstacles such as spikes, square blocks, deep holes or teleportation gates. These obstacles are arranged continuously and unexpectedly, forcing players to have quick reflexes and calculate each jump precisely. Each obstacle not only requires dexterity but also creates a unique rhythm that blends with the music, making the experience both dramatic and engaging.

Music festivals like this are such a nourishing escape from the usual grind. After attending a similar fest last summer, I started experimenting with spatial sound setups at home. Reverb was my go-to for gear inspiration—especially for ambient styles that mimic those outdoor echoes (seriously, check out https://reverb.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html if you’re into gear). Sometimes, the best moments come from wandering into a performance you didn’t expect to hear.
