If you're thinking Rocky Crest Golf Resort is just for golfers, think again! This resort has so much more to offer for the entire family!

Rocky Crest Golf Resort is nestled in amongst the trees right on the big, beautiful Lake Joseph in Muskoka. Driving up to the resort you will already begin to feel so relaxed.

We had a nice warm welcome at reception and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the lake. There was so much space in the suite. Each of the kids had their own double bed in one room and the master bedroom had a king bed. There was a small kitchenette with enough space for what we needed.

We took a short walk down to the lake where we were very excited with all the activities available! We started on the huge inflatable obstacle course in the water. Everyone puts on a life jacket and swims out to it. The water is surprisingly deep which is perfect for all the big jumps you can take off “the avalanche” and other spots in the course. You can spend hours here climbing, jumping, racing and bouncing. It’s a lot of fun, even for the parents!

Once we tired ourselves out at the inflatable water park, we headed back to the dock where you can pick up kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and pedal boats. All of these are included in your stay. There is nothing more relaxing than having a paddle around the quiet and peaceful lake.

There are 3 restaurants onsite at the resort. We had the chance to eat dinner at "On the Green Bistro" where we sat outside overlooking the beautiful green golf course at sunset. They had a variety of food and kids meals too! It was delicious!

The next morning we headed to "Windows Restaurant" for a buffet breakfast. They had everything from toast and cereal to poached eggs and bacon! We enjoyed this while looking out at the lake through the big glass windows - hence the name!

Another cool thing about Rocky Crest Resort is that not only is it on Lake Joseph but it is also on Armishaw Lake. It's a short walk through the beautiful greenery where you will come to a basketball court, tennis court and volleyball court. Don’t forget to stop by reception to pick up your equipment! You will also find a nice secluded dock by the lake to fish or get out on a boat. It's a beautiful quiet spot away from the inflatables and pool on Lake Joseph. We even caught a couple of fish!

We loved our stay at Rocky Crest Resort and hope to visit again soon!
